Innovative community participation in Cranbourne and nearby areas

Try new ways to connect, contribute and follow personal interests. Sometimes a familiar activity is not the right fit. Innovative community participation is an opportunity to explore different ways to connect, contribute or build confidence around an interest. The idea starts with what you want to try.

What it can include

Support with the details that matter

The right arrangement depends on your goals, the tasks involved and how you want assistance delivered. These are examples to discuss, not a fixed package.

Consider new ideas that suit your interests and goals.

Identifying barriers and workable supports

Work through transport, access and other barriers before a first visit.

Reviewing what you enjoyed and want to do next

Use your feedback to shape the next experiment.

How we work with you

A plan that fits real life

Where support happens

We can help research options, plan access and support a first visit. Activities could involve creative interests, learning, volunteering or other suitable community settings, depending on your goals and plan.

Before we begin

We make space to review what worked, what felt difficult and whether the next step should look different. Practical arrangements such as travel, fees and worker support are agreed beforehand.

Funding and fit

Clear arrangements before the first visit

NDIS funding can be self-managed, plan-managed or NDIA-managed. Tell us how your relevant supports are managed and we will confirm the proposed service and payment arrangement before work begins.

We also agree the tasks, worker match, schedule, travel arrangements and relevant costs. Where clinical care is involved, assessment and staff capability are checked before the service is confirmed.
